CHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICY
From EXPERIENSEA we will go out to have the best experience possible on board our boats.
Unfortunately sometimes the circumstances are above our desires, which from time to time may force you to modify and / or cancel reservations due to weather, technical reasons or changes in the clients’ agenda.
This page reflects our policy of changes and / or cancellations of reservations for all the different causes that we can predict.
A) ADVERSE METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS
In case the weather conditions are adverse, we will act as follows:
1.1 We will look for an alternative date / time
The most logical option would be to try to find an alternative date. In case of not being able to offer an alternative date or that the clients cannot adapt their agenda to the new date, an alternative itinerary will be offered for the same day.
Even within the same day we will try to adapt the time of departure and arrival to avoid possible bad weather to the extent of our possibilities.
The change of date or schedule does not imply any reduction in the rate or conditions of the contract unless the period of time of the contracted activity is reduced. In this case, the new rate corresponding to the new duration of the excursion would be applied.
In no case it will be possible to decide to shorten the activity on the march, once initiated the same, meaning this in a reduction of the tariff.
1.2 We will look for an alternative itinerary
It sometimes happens that weather conditions are adverse to navigation only in a particular area. Then the activity on a boat will be held on a different itinerary than initially planned, with no possibility for customers to choose the itinerary in which the conditions are adverse.
In the event that customers decline this new itinerary offered due to the weather, they would not be entitled to recover the amounts advanced to formalize the reservation.
1.3 All advances will be refunded
In case the weather conditions prevent the celebration of the activity and we cannot find alternative date, nor can we offer a safe and comfortable alternative route, we will proceed to return the total of the quantities delivered in advance.
The refunds will be made within 48 hours after the cancellation by bank transfer to the account indicated by the customer.
What do we consider to be adverse weather conditions?
Adverse weather conditions are those that either prevent the ship from leaving the port or cause the activity is not carried out with full guarantees of safety and comfort for our customers.
Examples of adverse weather conditions
Forecast of strong waves, with wave height of more than 1 meter in the area where the activity is carried out by boat.
Strong wind forecast with speeds above 20 knots.
Forecast of intense rain for a period of time superior to 20% of the total of the duration of the activity.
Examples of weather conditions that are NOT adverse to navigation
There is forecast to be cloudy or there is little sun.
There is possibility of weak rains during a period less than 20% of the total of the activity.
We are cold because we have not read the instructions and we have not brought warm clothes.
From EXPERIENSEA we will apply first and foremost common sense. In no case will we force the activity to be carried out on a day when our clients will not enjoy our boats as much as possible, showing the greatest possible flexibility in terms of itineraries and schedules.
B) CHANGES AND / OR CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
In case the client, due to circumstances, even force majeure, cannot celebrate the activity contracted on the date of the reservation, EXPERIENSEA will do everything in his side to find an alternative date available whenever the exchange communicates with 15 days prior to the date of the reservation in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the event that the change is less than 10 days in advance the customer would lose all of the delivered amounts.
In the event of cancellation of the reservation due to the impossibility of finding a date change that suits the client’s needs and to the availability of EXPERIENSEA, the customer would lose all of the delivered amounts, except in case the cancellation is more than 30 days in advance of the date of the reservation in writing to email@example.com, in which case the refund will be on the total amount paid in the reservation by the customer, less any possible return costs of a bank transfer, And will be made within 48 hours by bank transfer to the account indicated by the client.
C) CHANGES AND / OR CANCELLATION BY EXPERIENSEA
Rarely the vessel may have a technical problem and may not be available for the dates contracted. In this case EXPERIENSEA will pay the entire amount paid in advance as a reservation by the customer via bank transfer to the account indicated by the customer within 48 hours from the date of reservation without corresponding to the lessee or other passengers Compensation for this cancellation, reimbursement of airline tickets, etc.
